Come join us to celebrate the changes Easter has brought! We will have our services outside in the back parking lot. We will have a light breakfast at 9:00am, services start at 9:30, and an Easter egg hunt for our children follows the service.
We ask that you bring your own chairs for the service.
We do have some specific requests for Easter Sunday. Call the church if you can help!
Egg Hunt—we need individually wrapped candy to put in eggs, plus some plastic eggs. We also need volunteers to help with the egg hunt, especially to hide eggs and help clean up.
Guest Services and Greeters—If you are willing to help with greeting or assisting at the guest services table, especially on Easter Sunday, please call the church to volunteer. We will need several volunteers to help with parking and directing visitors
Christine Tanko continues to excel as the leader for our MOPS group. They have already outgrown their meeting area and have moved to the Youth Café. The website for our group, is https://www.mops.org/groups/fbcjesup . Christine will post the dates and times of the meetings, play dates, and other important information. Check it out and bookmark it so you can keep up with this active ministry. Childcare is available for you at each meeting. Prices per family are $5.00 for the first child, $3.00 for the second, and $2.00 for the third with a cap of $10.00 per family. If you are a mom with preschoolers in your home, come join our MOPS group. Check the calendar or our new website at MOPS for the March meetings and make plans to be with us.
VBS KICKOFF PLANNING MEETING MARCH 7TH
After a year’s hiatus, we are making plans to have VBS this year! The excitement of seeing our children here in the summer learning about Jesus is a sight to behold. Quarantine and covid robbed us of so many of our normal routines, and we are ready to move forward! Our theme is Concrete and Cranes, Building on the Love of Jesus, which is the curriculum we had planned to use last year.
Join us on Sunday, March 7th at 3:00pm in the Fellowship Hall to determine our blueprint for this year’s VBS. This will include determining the dates and time for our VBS. We’ll brainstorm and share and finalize our plans before hiring (enlisting) our construction crew.
